Alex Robertson is a graduate of Pepperdine Law school where he focused on the intersection of law and technology. He has worked with a broad range of startups and entrepreneurs, helping people with imaginations protect and profit from their innovative ideas. Mr. Robertson specializes in intellectual property law, namely copyright and trademarks, in addition to business and corporate law. He has advised clients in all stages of business planning, successfully shepherding ideas from infancy through ultimately bringing them to market.
With a focus on and passion for technology Mr. Robertson has experience in a wide variety of fields including 3D printing, medical device innovation, virtual reality, and emerging competitive sports and e-sports. He has successfully helped clients both offensively and defensively assert their intellectual property rights in both Federal and State court.
Recently, he has been heavily involved in the growing DMCA and copyright issues involving content creators on platforms like Twitch and YouTube, helping creators understand and successfully respond to DMCA take-down notifications and claims of infringement on past content, as well as developing proactive and sustainable strategies to avoid any issues going forward.
